Sulfanilic Acid

Sulfanilic acid is a synthetic organic chemical produced from the direct sulfonation of aniline and sulfuric acid. Sulfanilic acid is used as a raw material in the production of optical brighteners, food colors, specialty dyes, and concrete additives. It is white or yellowish crystal. Crystal water will be lost when the temperature has reached 100°C. Density:1.485 (25°C/4°C),slightly soluble in cold water,ethanol and aether, soluble in boiling water,melting point: 288°C,decompose at 300°C.
